"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company."
-George Washington
This quote has a big meaning behind it. What this quote means is that you should be with people who choose the right instead of people who choose the wrong. For example, having friends at school should be people who can help you study instead of people who don't like school and fail all their classes. The quote also says that it is better to be alone than in bad company. This means that it is better to be alone than to be with someone who doesn't choose the right. It is better to be alone because if you are in bad company with a person who chooses the wrong then you will also face the consequences. It is better to surround yourself with people of good quality because they can help you out when you need it. Having people of bad quality will hurt you because you can't turn to them when you need help. Having people of bad quality will also hurt your reputation. I agree with this quote, you should always associate yourself with people of good quality, it is also better to be alone than to be associated with a person of bad quality.
