“True independence and freedom can only exist on doing what’s right.”
-Brigham Young
This quote has a very big meaning behind it. What this means is that if you do what’s right you gain independence and freedom. An example of this quote is someone who chose the wrong and is now in jail. The person didn’t choose the right so he faced the consequences. Now that person’s freedom has been taken away because of the choice he has made. People who choose that are independent and have freedom. They don’t rely on other people to do the work for them. Another example of someone who has no independence is someone who cheats on a test. Since they cheated on a test it shows how they aren’t independent and rely on other people to do the work for them. People who are not independent are people that don’t really lead successful lives. People who choose the right are people with true independence and freedom. People who choose the right are people that lead more successful lives. People who choose the wrong are people that don’t have freedom and are not independent. People who choose the wrong will sooner or later face the consequences based on their actions.
