"Enthusiasm makes the difference."
-Dr. Norman Vincent
This is a small quote but it has a big meaning behind it. What this quote means is that if you lack enthusiasm you won't do much in your life. Enthusiasm means intense enjoyment , interest, and approval. People that have enthusiasm are people who enjoy what they are doing. People that don't have enthusiasm won't be interested and will therefore not really do anything. Having enthusiasm in school is what determines your grade. Depending on the subject, if you have enthusiasm, then you will do good in the subject. But, if you don't have enthusiasm for the subject that means that you will have low grades because you won't be interested or excited for the class. An example of this would be 2 kids. 1 is failing a lot of his classes. The other is passing all of his classes. This shows that the 1st kid doesn't have enthusiasm since he is failing most of his classes. This shows that he is uninterested in the classes. The other lid is passing all his classes which means that he shows enthusiasm because he is interested in his classes.
