"In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goalposts are"
-Arnold H. Glasgow
This quote isn't very long but it has a very big meaning behind it. This quote means that in life, you won't go far if you don't know how to accomplish your goals. An example of this is, in football the players have to make their way down the field in order to reach the goalpost which is their goal. In life, you have to work hard in order to reach your goal. In order to reach your goals you need to be a CTR person instead of a CTW person. A ctr person is someone who chooses the right. A ctr person isn't lazy and is also hard working. A ctw person is a person who chooses the wrong. A ctr person is lazy and doesn't do much in order to accomplish their goals. In order to reach the goalpost (which is your goal) you have to be willing to dedicate time and effort into reaching your goal. You can't be lazy because otherwise you will not reach your goal. You also have to be prepared, you have to know how you are going to reach your goals. If you aren't prepared to reach your goal then you won't reach it. Just like in football you have to be prepared, the football teams know what their goals are and they are also prepared.
