Veterans day

Veterans Day is a holiday that is on the anniversary of the end of World War 1 to honor US veterans and victims of all the wars. Veterans day was previously known as Armistice Day. It was then changed to Veterans Day and the annual observance began in 1978. The purpose of Veterans Day is to honor people who have served for the U.S It is important to show honor on Veterans Day because veterans served the country and protected it. Veterans Day is on Wednesday, November 11.  There are many things you can do during Veterans Day to show honor and respect. One of them is attending an event that focuses on Veterans Day. Another way to show respect is to donate to help out veterans. Another thing that you could do is say thank you to veterans who have served your country. 
Reflection: I feel that Veterans Day is a day that everyone in the U.S should celebrate.
It is very important to honor all of the U.S veterans. It is important to honor the Veterans because they served the country. I agree with people celebrating Veterans Day. I agree because it is really important to honor Veterans.
