"Obedience... is the primary object of all sound education"
-Elizabeth Missing Sewell
This is a short quote but it has a lot of meaning. The quote which is "Obedience... is the primary object of all sound education", is saying listening and being obedient is primary part of education. You listen with your ears and be obedient and that is all of your education. An example of listening and being obedient is a teacher telling you to do your homework. In this example your education is listening and being obedient which will make good things happen. An example of a someone who doesn't agree with this quote is someone who doesn't listen to what the teacher asks him/her to do. This is choosing the wrong and not letting obedience be the sound of all education. Someone who chooses the right is someone who agrees with the quote. Overall, this quote has a big meaning behind it and I agree with what this this quote is trying to say.
