Ambulance Dispatcher

Duties and responsibilities:
·         Answer emergency and nonemergency calls
·         Operate  radio, telephone, or computer equipment at emergency response centers
·         Receive reports from the public of crimes, fires, and emergencies
·         Relay information to emergency response personnel
·         Maintains contact with caller until responders  arrive
·         Question callers to determine their information
·         Provide emergency medical  instruction to callers
Salary: $22,533 - $51,701
Education Requirements: The minimum educational requirement to become an ambulance dispatcher is a high school diploma.
Reflection:  I would not like to be an ambulance dispatcher because ambulance dispatchers don’t get paid a lot of money. Another reason why I wouldn’t be an Ambulance dispatcher is I would not like to answer phone calls all day.
